Charism and Mission

The Charism of the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary is rooted in the primacy of God’s love and the power of education to develop the potential God gave each of us. The purpose of Holy Names Educational Ministries is to ensure that this Charism remains vibrant in our sponsored ministries. 

Mission

The mission of the Holy Names Educational Ministries (HNEM) is to provide a sustainable way of sponsoring and supporting the Catholic identity, Charism, Core Values, and Corporate Stands of the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary (SNJM) in their schools and other educational ministries. 

Holy Names Educational Ministries, approved by the Vatican, is governed by a Sponsors Council which includes Sisters and Catholic lay people.
